Garowe, (PF, Desk News) — More than 22,000 students from the nine regions of Puntland have commenced their national exams this week.

The exams, taken by 8th and 12th-grade students, are a pivotal part of the educational framework organized annually by the Puntland Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

In a ceremonial start, President Said Abdullahi Deni inaugurated the exams by cutting the ribbons at several schools in the capital city of Garowe. Concurrently, the Vice President and the Minister of Education visited various regions to oversee the proceedings and ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations.
